Features of the JioBook The MediaTek MT8788 SoC and 2GB RAM were tipped via a rumoured Geekbench listing.

The MediaTek MT8788 SoC-powered JioBook has apparently debuted on Geekbench. According to the ad, the laptop has 2GB of RAM and runs Android 11. The laptop had already been discovered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website with three distinct model numbers, implying that there were many variations. According to the device’s specifications, the Reliance Jio laptop will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and a Snapdragon X12 4G modem.

JioBook has debuted on Geekbench with the model number NB1112MM, according to a listing noticed by MySmartPrice. The laptop will be powered by a MediaTek MT8788 SoC with 2GB of RAM, according to reports. It received 1,178 points in single-core testing and 4,246 points in multi-core tests, according to reports. Although a previous leak said the JioBook laptop will run a bespoke JioOS on top of Android, the listing implies the gadget runs on Android 11.

The JioBook’s model NB1112MM is one of the model numbers that appeared in the BIS listing earlier this year with NB1118QMW and NB1148QMW. This indicates that Reliance Jio may plan to release the laptop in three separate versions.

JioBook specifications (leaked)

In terms of the JioBook’s features, XDADevelopers previously revealed that the device would have an HD (1,366×768 pixels) display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem. Up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 64GB of eMMC onboard storage are rumoured to be included with the CPU. According to reports, the laptop would have a tiny HDMI port, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

JioBook is rumoured to have pre-installed apps including JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages, as well as Microsoft software like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Edge, and Office.
