Netflix Is Testing A New ₹349 Monthly “Mobile+” Plan In India
Netflix Is Testing A New ₹349 Monthly “Mobile+” Plan In India. In India, Netflix is testing a new Rs. 349 monthly “Mobile+” plan, which sits between Rs. 199 “Mobile” plans and Rs. 499 “Basic.” In terms of benefits it meets the “Ordinary” package of Rs. 699. Netflix ‘s latest Mobile+ package includes high-definition (HD) streaming and device access — including Windows , Ios, and Chromebook — as compared to the Mobile and Standard basic video specification (SD) limitations. But you can’t watch the regular program on Telev or on overlapping displays.
Netflix said in a statement to Gadgets 360, “We’ve launched the India Mobile plan to make it easy for someone with a smartphone to enjoy Netflix. We want to see if members like the added choice [the Mobile+ plan] brings. We will only roll it out long-term if they do.”
The first to comment on the latest technology was AndroidPure.
“Mobile+” is a bit of a misnomer as it lets you watch Netflix on your devices. The new strategy, in fact, seems to be the “new standard” More so as Basic is covered when Mobile+ is being checked on the Netflix web site. Mobile+ is perfect for users as long as they don’t buy a tv — or take care of the big screen experience. And it’s not restricting the Netflix experience to SD, or mobile-only, as was the Simple or Desktop issue.
