QLED and LED Smart TV By Hisense Will Launch in India On August 6. Hisense Televisions will be available in India starting August 6, with the company’s QLED and LED smart television ranges becoming the first to go on sale. The television range is expected to be competitively priced for the market, and deliver premium features such as smart networking, HDR support for Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos sound. Hisense’s first televisions in India will go on sale on 6 August and the collection will be available digitally via Amazon , Flipkart, Tata Cliq and Reliance Digital.
Hisense’s latest smart televisions come with Android TV 9 Pie, and additionally, all the company’s 4 K televisions can support Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos sound. The televisions will also support Google Assistant and Chromecast along with Android TV 9 Apple, which will allow access to numerous applications via the Android TV Google Play Store.
The company’s QLED television set is also planned to deliver luxury features such as full array local dimming, and the company has already confirmed plans to introduce its 8 K TV sets Laser TV and Dual Cell in the coming months. The business focuses on the luxury and value-driven television markets in India and it is expected that pricing will be competitive and in line with what brands currently competing in online television space are offering.
Hisense also provides on the panel a five-year warranty on its televisions to be launched on August 6, and guarantees early buyers discounts too. The company claims to have a distribution network of over 400 service centers across India covering over 18,000 pin codes.
Although the initial product line is likely to be launched under the Hisense name, it is expected that the company will eventually carry the Toshiba television brand back to India too. Hisense has recently purchased Toshiba ‘s television business, and it also owns the Gorenje network, a famous European television company. The company has also revealed plans to introduce smart home appliances in India, including air conditioners and fridges.
