Oppo Launches Find X8 and Find X8 Pro Flagship Smartphones in Bali

On Thursday, Oppo unveiled its latest flagship smartphones—the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro—at an event in Bali, Indonesia. These devices are powered by the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and are the first smartphones in India to feature Android 15-based ColorOS 15.

Pricing and Availability
The Find X8 Pro is priced at ₹99,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. The standard Find X8 comes in two storage options: ₹69,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and ₹79,999 for the 16GB + 512GB version. All models will be available starting December 3 via the Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and major retail outlets.

Design and Display


Both devices feature a premium glass-metal sandwich design with narrow, uniform bezels. The Find X8 sports a flat-panel display, reminiscent of the iPhone 16, while the Find X8 Pro is equipped with a 4D curved screen. Both smartphones offer a 1.5K resolution display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

Special Features
Oppo has added unique hardware features, including an alert slider and a physical camera button called the “Quick Button.” This button allows users to activate the camera and control zoom functions, supporting up to 120x zoom.

Camera Capabilities
The Find X8 Pro stands out as one of the few smartphones to include two telephoto lenses: a 3x zoom and a 6x zoom lens, enhanced by a dual-periscope camera system featuring a Triple Prism Fold Reflection System. The standard Find X8 features three 50 MP cameras, while the Find X8 Pro boasts four 50 MP sensors. Both devices come with Hasselblad camera tuning for superior imaging quality.

Battery and Charging
Both phones support 80W wired fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. The Find X8 features a 5,630 mAh battery and is thinner and lighter than Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra, which houses a 5,000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Find X8 Pro includes a massive 5,910 mAh Silicon Carbon battery, the largest battery Oppo has ever used in a smartphone.
